The F.I.M.A. or “Females in Martial Arts” is the W.J.J.F. International Department for Females and it comprises an organization constituted of female Masters, Instructors and Students.
The World F.I.M.A. representative is the British Susan Bott 6th Dan, direct student of Soke Robert Clark. He has conferred upon her this title after many years of intense learning and an extraordinary technical capability.
Only the jujitsuka that are officially affiliated with the W.J.J.F. and have reached a minimum grade of 1st Dan, even without having the qualification of instructor, are accepted in the F.I.M.A, or instructors or masters that have a grade of 2nd Dan or higher, and also, but only in exceptional cases, those with a coloured belt that have particularly distinguished themselves on the tatami (mat).
In order to be a part and to be recognized on a world level, it is necessary to make a request directly to the headquarters in Liverpool through the “National Federal Directive” that will, after an attentive evaluation, arrange for the transmission of names for insertion in the F.I.M.A. department.
A special badge will be issued from England to put on the right shoulder of the gi and an exclusive diploma that attests to the official membership that must be renewed annually.
You too can enter into the F.I.M.A. by participating in the admission contest that will be held in the places and on the dates indicated in the Events section.
You will have the opportunity to teach women and young girls like yourself, confront yourself with them, with their uncertainties, their questions, their experiences, transmitting all of your energy and determination, placing at their disposal your knowledge and your technical repertoire.
Welcome to the F.I.M.A
Be a part of the Future!
